"Today's Comú d'Encam has awarded the expansion and remodeling works of the building known as the village cafe where part of the services for the elderly are housed, with the aim of building a new space with services and activities for the elderly.
The project that was already presented a few months ago will begin to be built this fall and is expected to take about 24 months of work. During the first months it will not be necessary to move any of the existing services, since the works will begin with the extension, and therefore the construction of the adjacent structure to be able to carry out the extension.
The works have been awarded to the winning company of the competition, Promocions i Obres Gec SAU for an amount of €3,498,673.38. The construction management will be in charge of the architect Pau Iglesias Rodríguez."
